What are the post-care instructions for your neurotoxin injections?
- Please avoid exercising
Avoid exercising 24 hours post injection. - Laying flat
Sleep elevated for up to 2 days post injection. - Do not massage
Do not massage the area after being treated. - Applying makeup
Avoid applying any makeup for 12 hours post treatment. - Tight head piece
Avoid wearing a tight hat/headband for 24 hours. - Please avoid sun/heat exposure
Avoid the sun/heat for 72 hours.
(including tanning beds, saunas, hot tub, etc.) - You may feel heavy / slight headache
This is normal for the first 1-2 weeks post injection. - Neurotoxin lasts 3-4 months
If you have stronger muscles, it may last less the duration. - Neurotoxin takes two weeks post-injection
Neurotoxin will be fully on set for two weeks post-injection. You may have uneven movement during this 2-week time period. At 2 weeks post treatment, if movement is still asymmetric, please schedule for a dose adjustment.
