Trevor is an elite injector of Tru Beauty by Trevor, a luxury cosmetic injectables practice and Med Spa. Trevor has a decade of experience working with injectables, first being PALETTE® trained and certified in 2011. His many online reviews are glowing, and patients praise his bedside manner, attention to detail and his love and care for each and every single person that walk through the doors. Trevor truly loves what he does and is passionate about the art and science of injectables. His motto is that the experience is as important as the outcome – we put just as much focus on making our patients feel good as we do on looking good, both on the inside and the outside.
Trevor was born in Southern Utah and grew up in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. He earned his Registered Nursing degree in Sioux Falls and has worked in the medical field for 15 years in Trauma and Emergency Room medicine, Flight Medicine, Interventional Radiology, Operating Room and Recovery, ICU/Pulmonary medicine, and now exclusively as a cosmetic injector for the past 4 years.
He moved to Las Vegas in 2011 and has been a proud Nevada resident ever since!
When he is not in office seeing patients, he spends his time with his four beautiful children and his amazing family.
Bella, his late wife, was the Managing Partner and Director of Marketing for Tru Beauty by Trevor until she unexpectedly passed in March of 2022. Trevor and Bella’s dream was to give love, compassion, and connection which served as the foundation of the work they did together each day. Trevor continues to cherish and build this dream they always desired for his family.
Akhil Patel, M.D. is a graduate of the University of Florida, where he received a Bachelor of Science in Biology. He then obtained his Medical Degree from the University of Florida College of Medicine. Akhil is board-certified in Internal Medicine with the American Board of Internal Medicine. Akhil is also certified in a variety of aesthetic treatments, such as Allergan’s Juvéderm line and more! He serves as a medical director and physician owner of Tru Beauty by Trevor.
Jordan is a licensed Physician Assistant in the state of Nevada. He grew up in Las Vegas, NV, and attended college at the University of Nevada, Reno, earning a bachelor’s degree in biology and a double minor in chemistry and psychology. From there Jordan attended Touro University in Nevada, where he graduated with an MPAS, P.A.-C. Following his training, Jordan worked in both the Emergency Room and in the operating room with Orthopedic surgery. Shortly thereafter, Jordan found his true love, aesthetic medicine. He particularly enjoys giving every patient a truly special experience. Jordan has experience working with many modalities, including Botox, Dysport, Juvéderm, Xeomin, Restylane, Sculptra, Kybella, and many others. When not working, you can find Jordan exploring Las Vegas with his wife Kayla and dog Captain.
Joy is a certified laser technician and licensed Advanced Aesthetician. She attended Euphoria Institute of Beauty Science in Las Vegas, Nevada, and graduated with the highest honors. Upon receiving her aesthetic license, she attended the prestigious National Laser Institute in Scottsdale, Arizona. She received her laser certification along with advanced training in the application of chemical peels. Joy also acquired more training at the Dermal Skin Institute in advanced facial protocols.
Over the past nine years, Joy has acquired a love for laser skin resurfacing. Acquiring three preceptorships in advanced resurfacing from top plastic surgeons and dermatologists, she also has completed countless hours of continuing education in advanced protocols and combination modalities. Laser skin resurfacing is an ever-changing and advancing practice, her commitment to education and growth in this industry puts her at the top of the field.
Tru Beauty by Trevor is proud to offer Sciton lasers. Joy is proficient in Halo, Moxi, Profractional, Nano and Microlaser peels, Contour TRL and BBL Hero. Joy has also been honored to be named on Sciton’s elite luminary team and a trainer for Sciton!
After spending 20+ years in Leadership and Management in the public sector, it was a welcomed industry change to take Christina’s expertise in organizational management to the next level and join the world of medical aesthetics. Christina has applied her entrepreneurial business mindset to scale and grow the practice while also feeling connected to something bigger that would later allow her to leave a lasting impact on the people around her.
Christina has an extensive educational background including a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and two Master’s Degrees in Technology and Leadership Administration. Christina spends her time outside of work with her amazing husband and two beautiful children. They love to workout, golf, play hockey, pickleball, and go to the beach.
Katie is one of our amazing administrative assistant and rewards program ambassadors. To get to know Katie’s background, she has been an administrative assistant/patient concierge for the past 4 years in the medical aesthetics industry. Katie thrives when it comes to helping patients feel and look their best with service and product recommendations.
Katie has recently been accepted into Nursing School at Roseman College of Nursing for her BSN and will start her program in October of 2023 to March of 2025. Katie will be focusing in Nursing school on becoming an Aesthetic Injector herself and is so excited to start her program!
Kristin completed the 900-hour Master Aesthetician program at the National Institute of Modern Aesthetics in 2020 as the top graduate in her class. She’s certified in a vast range of skin treatments and laser modalities including microneedling, chemical peels, dermaplaning, tattoo removal, IPL photofacial, laser hair removal, and more. Knowing the importance of education in an industry that is constantly evolving and advancing, she has always had a strong focus on continued education and a passion for sharing that knowledge with others, especially her clients. She also has a knack for making each client feel calm, cool, and collected during more advanced treatments. Prior to launching her aesthetics career, she graduated Summe Cum Laude from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville and fundraised in the nonprofit sector in Saint Louis, MO and Fort Walton Beach, FL before arriving in Las Vegas in 2019.
