Please avoid any blood thinners up to 5 days before your injection day. - PLAN AHEAD OF BIG EVENTS
Please schedule your treatment prior to 3 weeks of any big event. (Swelling or bruising may occur.) - PLAN AHEAD WITH DENTAL WORK
Please schedule your injections within 2 weeks of pre and post-dental work. - NO ALCOHOL
Please avoid any alcohol 48 hours before your appointment. - FRESH AND CLEAN SKIN
Please come to your appointment with no make-up on, if possible. - PREGNANT
We do not recommend getting injected while pregnant/breastfeeding.
WHAT ARE THE POST-CARE INSTRUCTIONS FOR YOUR FILLER INJECTIONS?
- PLEASE AVOID EXERCISING
Please avoid exercising 24 hours post-injection. - LAYING FLAT
Please sleep elevated for up to 2 days post-injection. - PLAN AHEAD WITH DENTAL WORK
Please schedule your injections within 2 weeks of pre and post-dental work. - FRESH AND CLEAN SKIN
Please come to your appointment with no make-up on. Please avoid getting a spray tan up to 48 hours post-injection. - APPLY ICE
Apply a cold compress 2-3 times a day to the treated area. - HYDRATE MORE
Please increase your water intake post-injection day. (Avoid straws) - PLEASE AVOID SUN/HEAT EXPOSURE
Please avoid the sun/heat for 72 hours. (Including tanning beds, saunas, hot tubs, etc.) - NO ALCOHOL / SALT
Please avoid large amounts of alcohol/large amounts of salt for 24 hours.
It is normal to have swelling and feel uneven for up to 2 weeks post-injection. The worst of the swelling will be 1-3 days post injection. Please wait a full 2 weeks for the filler to settle and integrate into the tissue.
Lips: Do not touch for the first 2-3 days. After that, firmly massage the lips 1-2 times a day by squeezing and rubbing between the thumb and index finger starting in the middle of the lip to the outer corners of the mouth.
Lips will be lump, uneven, and swollen until the swelling subsides and filler integrates into the lips tissue.
PLEASE CALL THE OFFICE IMMEDIATELY IF YOU ARE EXPERIENCING SIDE EFFECTS SUCH AS BLISTERS, PUSTULES, EXCRUCIATING PAIN, CHANGES IN SKIN COLOR (PALE, DUSTY, LACE PATTERN BRUISING.)
